Simone Tai Pilates Instructor
Simone began practicing Pilates in 2005, and received her Pilates certification through Balanced Body University’s training program at Turning Point Studios in Walnut Creek in 2010. She has studied “Movement Medicine” with Nora St. John, learning Pilates-based techniques for injury prevention and rehabilitation. Simone has also studied Iyengar yoga as well as ballet and modern dance at Berkeley Ballet Theater, Shawl-Andersen Dance Center and Contra Costa Ballet. Since 2001, Simone has been practicing insight meditation, and is a board member of the Saddhamma Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting Theravada Buddhism. |
